Wonderfully said! I really enjoyed your message and the insightful thoughts you had on homeschooling. Its so tough to be a homeschooling Mama of a challenging teen who has special needs. This encouraged me today. Thank you!
Thank you so much. This was a lovely video with such good solid advice. It makes me wish I still had children home to snuggle on the couch and read with. Your oft repeated theme of just being there for your children and not being too "academic" is so important. It all works out in the end and God has the perfect plan for all of our children.
Thanks again and Happy Winter!
Thank you for this encouragement. I was homeschooled myself & loved my experience as a homeschooled kid & wanted that for my children. I started out loving my journey as a homeschool mom, but have lost the JOY in it. I still feel that it’s the best schooling option, especially in our current world, I just need wisdom from God on how to get back to the foundation of why we do it. I long for those special family moments daily & right now they seem fewer & further between. Thank you for helping me shift my thoughts a bit & remember what it’s all about.
Thank you for this beautiful encouragement. Homeschooling is a gift as we are about to graduate in June. Thank you for the Notgrass products and for encouraging the blessings of time and seasons with our children.
Love this message! Such great reminders to just be ourselves and not compare, to relish this season as it flies by too quickly! Thank you for this!
Bless you for this.
Thanks so much for this video. Your wisdom is such a blessing.
What an encouraging and challenging message. Thank you for sharing many years of wisdom from your heart. Praying for your ministry and all the parents listening who want to provide what is needed for their children and their situation. in a way that is life-giving and not exhausting.
Thanks so much for this encouraging message.
It was just what I needed to hear. I have been discouraged with homeschooling my daughter lately and have been trying to figure out a new path for us to finish out this school year. Just like someone else mentioned, the picture of how things would go with homeschooling her and how they actually are going are very different. I continue to walk forward on this journey, but some days are hard. Your message has given me great hope and encouragement. You reminded me the importance of who is in control and leading our path. I just need to lean more on HIM and HE will direct our path!!
Also thank you for the reading recommendations!!
Blessings to you and all of your family!
Thank you for lifting our hearts. It's been cold and wintery in lower Alabama. I keep looking on the weather forecast for sunny and warm days. This reminded me to relish the season. Encouraged me to read more to the children. Morning sickness and first trimester fatigue has been taking the best of me. Can't wait to fully embrace winter the way you described it.
I love this message. Thank you for the reminder of the importance of taking a step back and teaching our children about our Father God.
Loved your message as a whole, but please don't get sucked up into the current narrative of avoiding or apologizing for racism everywhere. The Little House books are very much based on actual history and that is what happened. I praise God for growth!
Thank you so much for the encouragement. What a good reminder to focus on our Lord. This is a good guard for my heart to not let academics become an idol. How blessed I am to snuggle and read to my children and to experience nature with them, and point them to the Lord in all the big and little things in everyday life. You are a blessing to the homeschool community.... in your products you create in love, but also your family's heart to encourage the next generation of homeschoolers. Bless you and all your family's endeavors!!
Thank you for the encouragement! I love what you said about showing your son what kind of woman he should marry by letting him see his mama kiss his daddy everyday. I never thought about it that way!
